Admission Guideline:   Private Masters (MA) from  Punjab University Lahore

Punjab University is one of oldest and prestigious institute for higher learning in Pakistan. Punjab University Lahore has currently 50+ departments in different fields.

Pu Offers 9 Private MA degrees in Urdu, Islamaiat, Persian, Political Science, Maths, Philosophy, Arabic, Economics and English.

Private MA is very easy to do rather then BA. In BA the English subject is very toughest but in Master degree, all course concentrate in one major field in which you are doing Masters. Masters degree from PU is consist of 2 years program, with annual exams for both parts taken by PU.

Eligibility:
For getting Admission in Punjab University for Masters (MA). You have min 14 year of education and have bachelor degree in any field or subject. That is compulsory for the subject that you have read in BA or not. you can select any subject in Masters.

Registration:
As soon you have passed BA from any university, you can register with Punjab University as soon registration is opened. The Registration for MA are open in month of November/ December. and cost almost 3000 RS for registration.
If you have done BA from Punjab University, then there is no need for again registration. you are already registered with PU and its student. Registration is only for those students, which have done their BA from other universities.

Admission Form:
Admissions are sent in the month of Feb/March. Download admission form from Pu website, deposit fee in bank, attach required documents with application and send it to PU Admission office (As Address on Application form).

Exam:
The Exam are conducted in exam centers setup by Punjab University in different cities in Pakistan. You will get your roll no slip before 2 – 3 week of e

ams. MA result is announced in month of October – November.

Note:

For MA 2nd part, you have to send admission for 2nd part again. don’t relay on old part 1 admission, you may loose your year by not sending admission of part 2.Don’t stop your education at BA, Just make a move and start Masters.
